Designers who have passed a national certification exam, such as the CQRID, OR certification with another nationally recognized design association. IDS Professionals distinguish themselves and IDS by demonstrating talent and intense commitment.
Associates
Designers with four or more years experience in Interior Design; OR a combination of education in Interior Design from an accredited interior design education program and practical interior design experience to equal four or more years.
Affiliates
Individuals with less than four years experience in Interior Design; OR individuals in a relevant occupation (i.e., Decorator, Educator, Specialist, Management, etc.)
Design Partners
Members associated with businesses who provide services and products related to Interior Design.
Students
Students who are currently enrolled in an accredited residential interior design program.
